What you’ll be doing:
💣Product design and selection: Work with customers and sales teams to gather requirements, create non-standard product designs, and generate quotation drawings and material masters. Approve manufacturing drawings and ensure product compliance with design standards.
💣Technical support: Provide consultation to customers on product selection, troubleshoot application issues, and coordinate failure analyses.
💣Support for manufacturing and service centers: Ensure seamless communication and technical assistance for internal manufacturing processes.
💣Engineering process improvement: Provide feedback to improve internal standards and tools, address inefficiencies, and participate in the testing and development of revised engineering tools.
What will help you get the job done?
🎯Minimum 4-year technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
🎯Specialized knowledge in: rings and packing components, reciprocating compressor design and application, metallic and polymeric materials, machining and finishing of metals and polymers, compressible fluids, tribology, and processes in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industry
🎯Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering positions, with at least one position at a manufacturing company
🎯Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
🎯Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
🎯Ability to perform basic solid modeling, CAD, and PDM activities using Autodesk Inventor and Vault - nice to have
🎯Willingness to occasional domestic travel and international travel
