Are you a person who sees a complex part drawing and immediately starts planning how to make it? If you know your machines inside and out and feel passionate about turning a design into reality, let’s talk about the position of:
👷 CNC Programmer
📍Location: Pompano Beach, FL (Moving to a new facility in Delray Beach, FL in a couple of months).
⏰ No shift work and flexible work hours.
➡️ You will be the bridge between design and production. You'll be the go-to expert who answers the critical question: "How do we make this?" Your day-to-day will be a mix of strategic planning, hands-on programming, and shop-floor collaboration. This makes the role highly creative, analytical, and central to the company's production success.
🏭 Company: 1.5 billion dollar technology leader specializing in performance-critical components for diverse industries globally, including automotive and compression technology with over 130 years of engineering excellence.
What will you be doing?
🔧 Analyzing new product designs and developing the manufacturing process from scratch: selecting the right machines, tooling, fixtures, and sequence of operations.
🔧 Writing, testing, and proving robust, error-proof CNC programs for a variety of machines (lathes, mills, multitasks) using ESPRIT CAM software.
🔧 Troubleshooting and supporting production management and quality team with analysis of processes on CNC machines that do not work as designed.
🔧 Finding opportunities for improvements by changing tooling and cutting processes to decrease cycle time and cost related to handling, quality, and supply chain.
🔧 Working hand-in-hand with our machine operators to ensure programs are understood, provide training, and gather feedback to make processes better.
🔧 Share knowledge and communicate with coworkers throughout the organization.
What will help you get the job done?
💡 A minimum of 4+ years of experience as a CNC Programmer or related Manufacturing or Process Engineer experience.
💡 Hands-on experience running and programming various CNC equipment (e.g., Lathes, 3/5-axis Mills, Multitasking Machines).
💡 Proficiency with at least one major CAM software (e.g., ESPRIT, Mastercam). We will provide training on ESPRIT.
💡 Ability to read and understand G and M code required.
💡 Ability to read manufacturing prints (dimensioning and geometric constraints).
💡 Expertise in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.).
More than just skills, you have the right mindset:
✨You are a natural problem-solver, passionate about the "why" and "how" behind every part.
✨You are an excellent communicator, able to explain complex technical details clearly and build strong relationships with operators on the shop floor.
Why is it worth it?
🌟 Be part of a massive growth phase with a new facility and millions invested in the best technology and equipment.
🌟 Join a privately held global leader that reinvests 100% of its profits back into the company, ensuring long-term stability and innovation.
🌟 You will be reporting directly to the Head of Segment/Vice President. You won’t just be programming machines; you'll be a key technical expert working directly with the management level to shape our manufacturing strategy.
🌟 You'll have access to a dedicated technology (OET) team, and the resources you need to succeed.
🌟Perks and bonuses: medical/dental/vision insurance, company provided. Short- & Long-Term Disability coverage and Life Insurance, paid Vacation, paid Holidays, paid Sick Days, paid Parental Leave, 401(k) Retirement Plan.
