We are looking for a sales professional with a deep understanding of the automotive environment, ready to join a Tier 1 manufacturer and take responsibility for the new business development and account management. Responsibilities

  • Execute the sales strategy and expand the customer base.
  • Assist in identifying the most suitable contacts at design, engineering and purchasing in each OEM company.
  • Nurture the existing customer relationships and connect with prospective clients.
  • Contribute to the established Key Performance Indicators.
  • Attend and host customer visits where appropriate.
  • Follow up on inquiries and quotations in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the market and competition activities.
  • Report on the sales activities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development within the automotive environment, preferably as a part of a Tier 1 company.
  • Understanding of the local and global automotive industry.
  • Experience in implementing strategies that are in line with an overall business plan.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams within an international environment.
  • Self-motivated individual with strong abilities to build and nurture relationships, listen, negotiate and manage time without direct authority.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required.
