Responsibilities

💼Farming: Carrying out measures to cultivate existing customer potential and to generate new business with existing customers.

💼​Prospection:

- Seeks constantly for new leads and prospects,

- Visits and negotiates with prospects,

- Follows-up new contracts set-up together with Back-Office.

💼​Customer Care: 

- Closely follows up customers together with back-office to insure customer satisfaction,

- Visits and negotiates with existing customers,

- Sells additional products and services to customers.

💼​Contracts: Negotiating and managing contracts with clients.

💼​Profitability: Controlling sales, rebates and commissions (non-fuel) in order to maximize revenues.

💼​Risk Management: Analyses outstanding cash and participates pro-actively in cash and debt recovery together with Credit Manager.

💼​Network: Regularly visits stations and checks on tidiness.

💼​Organizing, implementing and monitoring activities required to achieve sales targets.

💼​Regularly updates the customer database on tools like SALSA (contact details, visit reports, opportunities, prospects, etc.).

💼​Coordination of sales activities with other company’s units in order to exploit synergetic potentials for successful operations.

💼​Attending training and to developing relevant knowledge and skills.

💼​Be an active member of the transportation community; i.e., attend functions at local events, attend regional and national trade shows.

Requirements

🚚University Degree in Business or Economics or Engineering field.

🚚​Min 3 years of experience in B2B sales.

🚚​Good level of English (B2), other languages are a plus.

🚚​Strong selling and negotiations skills – ideally gained within HGV environment or Transportation, proven track record of sales wins.

🚚​Good interpersonal, communication and commercial skills with the utmost ethical principles.

🚚​Capacity to work autonomously and organize him-/herself efficiently.

🚚​Ability to influence across a wide range and profile of buyers.

🚚​Good understanding of buyers behavior and customer decision making process.

🚚​Driving license.
