CNC Machinist Ref. no: CM/05/2025/FL

💯 As a CNC Machinist, you'll go beyond machine operation – you’ll own the setup process. From interpreting technical drawings to selecting tooling and performing precision measurements, you'll play a key role in the production of components.

📍 Location: Currently based in Pompano Beach, FL, with a new facility opening in Delray Beach, FL, within the next year.      

⚙️Modern machinery work with lathes, turn-mills, multitask machines, e.g., MAZAK, DMG, e.g., compressor components: valves, controls, rings, and packing.           

🕐 Shifts & Schedule: Full-time, On-site  

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 am–2:00 pm
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm–10:00 pm
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 pm–6:00 am

           
💵 Hourly pay ($29–$32/hr) with shift differentials (12.5% for 2nd shift,+15% for 3rd shift) + 5% Annual Bonus

📌 You will be assigned to a specific shift


 

What will you be doing?

➡️ Set up and operate CNC Turning and/or Milling Centers to machine metal and polymer components with precision.​​

➡️ Select tools, secure workpieces, load cutting tools, and adjust programs for optimal performance.

➡️ Monitor operations and make real-time adjustments to ensure each part meets blueprint and metric specifications.​​

➡️ Inspect final pieces using micrometers, calipers, depth/thread gauges, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

➡️ Complete production and quality documentation, and communicate any irregularities to team leads.

➡️ Perform basic maintenance and strictly follow safety procedures to keep machines running smoothly and safely.


 

Your profile:

💡 5+ years of hands-on experience in CNC machine setup and operations.

💡​ Education: High school diploma or GED required.

💡​ ​Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

💡​ Proficiency in both metric and imperial systems.

💡 Understanding of basic math, including decimals and unit conversions.

💡​ Familiarity with production documentation and quality control processes.

💡​ ​Familiarity with CAM/CAD and working in a digital production environment.

💡​ Language: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

💡 Computer skills: Basic PC use in a manufacturing setting.

 

Nice to have:

✨ Experience with both CNC Turning and Milling.
✨ Familiarity with machining polymers as well as metals.
✨ Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues on machines.
