Oversee a large-scale industrial manufacturing construction project, coordinating with architect, contractors and engineers, ensuring all phases are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. After completion, this role will transition into a long-term Facilities Manager position, managing ongoing operations.

๐ญ Role will be on-site at new location with direct oversight of land development, building construction, and transition of existing equipment to new location with effective ramp up of production.
Is the role for you?
๐ Experience: You have 8+ years in construction, project management, and facilities management in industrial environments. Experience in greenfield/new investments/relocating facilities projects is a must.โ
๐ Technical knowledge: You have a good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems (e.g., 3-phase electrical power, air conditioning, alarm systems) and the ability to coordinate with contractors for installation and maintenance. You feel comfortable reading a factory floor plan and coordinating the work for a team. โโ
๐ Project management skills: You will be the key person within the project team to oversee design and construction phases, ensuring execution according to the project plan.โโโ
๐ Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills to manage internal teams and external partners - sounds like you? Youโll be working with contractors, stakeholders, and global teams.โ
What Youโll Be Doing?
๐ท Oversight of pre-construction and design phase - support project team with GC RFQ process and selection.
๐ท Coordinate design efforts between the company and the primary architect.
๐ท Define program regarding new building infrastructure including and not limited to: roof system, waste management, tilt wall construction, air conditioning, floors, electrical and compressed air systems, data infrastructure, water and other utilities.
๐ทManage projects from the design to the installation/fabrication/build:
๐ ๏ธ Work with contractors on scope of work/contracts.
๐ ๏ธ Work with contractors on the design.
๐ ๏ธ Manage spending/budget.
๐ ๏ธ Manage work in the facilities.
๐กManage contractors and ensure compliance with company standards for manufacturing floor, office space, and common areas.
๐กResearch and discuss engineering, insurance and regulatory requirements with local authorities, engineering firms, contractors to ensure the business is protected from legal, environmental and/or business risks.
