β¨ Take responsibility for leading the polymer processing in the injection molding department of a Plant, which is part of Strategic Business Unit Compression Technology. As Polymer Processing Engineer you will design, develop and deploy a continuous improvement process to increase efficiency and quality. Using RJG, inc. eDart software and cavity pressure sensors, you will build robust processes with sorting capability and alarm limits. While also being responsible for new equipment specifications, quoting, and installation, new mold trials, mold repair coordination, and training of other process technicians.β

Your role:
π Setting up and operating hydraulic and electric injection molding machines.
πβ Adjusting machine parameters to keep parts within specified tolerances.
πβ Performing destructive test on CNC Lathe.
πβ Testing new molds in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineering.
πβ Building cavity pressure templates and maintain eDart server database.
πβ Maintaining all injection molds (pm program).
πβ Being an active member of the Continuous Improvement Effort.
πβ Evaluating new equipment specifications, quoting, and installation.
Your profile:
β Bachelors in Engineering and minimum of 5 years injection molding experience or High School diploma or general education degree (GED) with 5 yearsβ experience with cavity pressure molds; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
β β RJG, Inc. certification required.
β β 5 years of eDart desired.
β β Understanding of mold design and maintenance.
β β Understanding and experience of robot operation.
β β Understanding Quality inspection requirements, including ISO requirements.
β β Understanding inputs and information through ERP system.
β β Understanding Work Instructions and process flow.
β β Understanding of simulation software for polymer processing.
β β Experience with CAD software for mold design.
β β Project management experience.
β β Understanding 5S concepts.
β Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams within an international environment.β
