What you’ll be doing:
💣Process optimization: Set up and operate injection molding machines, adjust parameters to maintain tolerances, and perform quality checks to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
💣Scientific molding: Build cavity pressure templates, manage the eDart server database, and implement advanced molding techniques to enhance consistency.
💣Equipment and mold evaluation: Collaborate with manufacturing engineering on new mold trials, maintain injection molds through a PM program, and evaluate new equipment for potential investment.
💣Continuous improvement: Actively contribute to ongoing process enhancements, from research and analysis to the implementation of best practices.
💣Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and external partners to align processes and achieve project goals.
Your profile:
✅ Bachelors in Engineering and minimum of 5 years scientific molding experience or High School diploma or general education degree (GED) with 5 years’ experience with cavity pressure molds; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
✅ RJG, Inc. or equivalent certification required.
✅ 5 years of eDart or similar system.
✅ Understanding of mold design and maintenance.
✅ Understanding and experience of robot operation.
✅ Understanding Quality inspection requirements, including ISO requirements.
✅ Understanding inputs and information through ERP system.
✅ Understanding Work Instructions and process flow.
✅ Understanding of simulation software for polymer processing.
✅ Experience with CAD software for mold design.
✅ Project management experience.
✅ Understanding 5S concepts.
✅ Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams within an international environment.
